Message From Principal Biele

Vincent Biele - Otisville Elementary Principal

WELCOME Otisville students and families, faculty and staff to the 2018-2019 school year!

It’s always a great joy to see our classrooms come alive again and our students engaged in academic, physical, social and emotional learning.

This year we are ready to soar to new heights under the theme “Otisville students are superheroes.” With or without capes our students are our real-life heroes and, as educators, we learn from them every day.

Our students inspire us to be the best we can be. They show us that every day is a great new day for growing and learning; they brave new challenges each day; they demonstrate respect for others and themselves; they care about each other’s safety and wellbeing; and they make us proud of our school community.

As in the past, our new school theme will be incorporated in classroom activities, PBIS, and school-wide assemblies throughout the year.

Every school year is a new opportunity for a fresh, positive and productive start. We encourage everyone to embrace what education has to offer and use it to grow as a student, parent and professional.

It takes all of us to provide a high quality education for all of our students. There is no limit to what we can accomplish together through hard work and perseverance around a common goal.

In that spirit, I look forward to working with you and seize every opportunity to support effective and engaging learning in Otisville’s classrooms.

I wish everyone a brave and accomplished school year and send out a special welcome to our incoming kindergartners, as they begin their educational career.

As always, feel free to contact the main office with any questions or concerns. We are here to support your role as a partner in your child(ren)’s education.

Thank You.

Vincent F. Biele

Action Plan Developed For Local Assistance Plan

In the fall of 2015, a team of Otisville Elementary teachers, administrators, counselors, and parents developed an Action Plan in response to the Local Assistance Plan which the Otisville Elementary School is participating in.  The team reviewed the Tenets of the Local Assistance Plan and developed activities which will assist with the enhancement of academic performance.  Please click here to view the LAP (Local Assistance Plan).
